Trade Fair Event \u201cIT f\u00fcr Versi\u00adche\u00adrun\u00adgen\u201d: pro et con parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adted as Exhibi\u00adtor and Speaker<\/h2>\n

On 28 and 29 Novem\u00adber 2023, the 15th \u201cIT f\u00fcr Versi\u00adche\u00adrun\u00adgen\u201d (IT for Insurance Compa\u00adnies) trade fair congress was held at the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL).<\/p>\n

In the lecture \u201cSoftware migration at S\u00fcdLea\u00adsing: from COBOL to Java \u2013 agile and automa\u00adtic\u201d, Denis Uhlig from pro et con and Sebas\u00adtian Seek from PROMASE Consul\u00adting (who formerly worked at S\u00fcdLea\u00adsing) presen\u00adted a successful COBOL->Java migration project.<\/p>\n

The relevance of this topic was reflec\u00adted by the dedica\u00adted \u201cModer\u00adni\u00adsa\u00adtion of legacy systems\u201d forum, which was held in the main lecture hall. Our lecture, which stood out by presen\u00adting a speci\u00adfic, successfully comple\u00adted project, met with a great response. This did not only become evident by the lively parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion of the audience in the follo\u00adwing Q&A session, but also by the visitors, who immedia\u00adtely came to our booth. They took the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to watch a live migration and expres\u00adsed interest in future colla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons and projects.<\/p>\n

The evening event in the VIP area of the Red Bull Arena offered further oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties for networking.<\/p>\n

This trade fair congress is one of the IT highlights of the year. It aims at IT managers in the insurance indus\u00adtry and includes, besides a specia\u00adlist exhibi\u00adtor fair, a top-class lecture programme with selec\u00adted speakers.<\/p>\n
